I am Mahsa Malmir, a PhD student in the Department of geology and geological engineering at Université Laval, Québec (QC), Canada. I will conduct my research into the behavior of groundwater and surface water flow systems in permafrost-impacted environments under climate change using advanced numerical modelling.

My research interests focus on groundwater modeling and groundwater management, the impacts of climate change on water resources, groundwater-surface water interaction, and sustainable water resources management.
